- Rockglen CKC7 Rockglen CKC7 fits our "Mile and a Half or Less to Lunch" group. It's an easy walk /bike ride into town. Also, when you fly in, look at the surrounding land formations. In the advancement of the glacier during the last Ice Age, the glacier split near here. The land formations you will see resembles what all of the prairie region might have been before that glacier.
- Willow Bunch Willow Bunch was histoically the wintering grounds of Metis hunters, aboriginal bands and early settlers. When you FLY OVER Willow Bunch, you will see why. Under the crest of a valley below the open plains to the west, this was a perfect location to shelter from the winter winds. Should you ever make to the village, a walk through town and the cemetary will open a whole history book for you.
